Monroe Abstract Company also is concerned with the privacy of on-line communications and web sites. In general, the Internet is neither more nor less secure than other means of communication, including mail, facsimile, and voice telephone service, all of which can be intercepted and otherwise compromised. As a matter of prudence, however, Monroe Abstract Company urges its subscribers to assume that all of their on-line communications are insecure. Digital Lab Media cannot take any responsibility for the security of information transmitted over Monroe Abstract Company's facilities. You acknowledge that Monroe Abstract Company does not pre-screen Content. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such Content.
Monroe Abstract Company will not intentionally monitor private electronic mail messages sent or received by its subscribers unless required to do so by law, governmental authority, or when public safety is at stake. Monroe Abstract Company may, however, monitor its service electronically to determine that its facilities are operating satisfactorily. Also, Monroe Abstract Company may disclose information, including but not limited to, information concerning a subscriber, a transmission made using our network, or a web site, in order to comply with a court order, subpoena, summons, discovery request, warrant, statute, regulation, or governmental request. Monroe Abstract Company assumes no obligation to inform the subscriber that subscriber information has been provided and in some cases may be prohibited by law from giving such notice. Finally, Monroe Abstract Company may disclose subscriber information or information transmitted over its network where necessary to protect Monroe Abstract Company and others from harm, or where such disclosure is necessary to the proper operation of the system.
All services provided may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party.
